Cool, conditioned air washed over Danni Harper, and she slowed to a walk as she entered the mall. It was crowded, filled with Saturday afternoon shoppers who were blissfully unaware of the succubus amongst them. Danni was very athletic, but the sprint from the staging area had left her winded. She took a deep breath, smoothed back her chestnut hair, and straightened her leather jacket. She pinched the microphone on her collar.
